Apprenticeship as mechatronics technician (m/f)

Job description

Mechatronics technicians work interdisciplinary in the fields of mechanics, control engineering, electrical engineering and electronics. The field of activity extends from assembly, commissioning and maintenance to the operation of automated plants and systems.

Educational contents:

  • manual and automatic machining
  • joining and installing of components
  • measuring and testing of electrical values
  • programming of mechatronic systems
  • installing and testing of hardware and software
  • installation of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components
  • commissioning of devices, machines, plants and systems as well as maintenance and repair


Requirements of the applicant

  • education: secondary school (Realschule)/ advanced secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss)
  • higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) / subject-related entrance qualification (Fachabitur)
  • no own car required
  • a good secondary school diploma or higher education entrance qualification with good achievements in physics, mathematics and technology
